" I would like to use a live chat application on my official university home page to directly interact
with my students via live chat during my office hours. I wish to offer this facility specially to
those students who are unable to meet with me in person for one reason or another-- sickness,
absence from class due to family commitments, and the weather. We get plenty of snow around
here in Michigan . There are often times when I am away attending conferences, coordinating
professional workshops, or conducting seminars. I would like to continue to counsel my students
