What is New at Live2Support

File Transfer, Smilies other Emoticons, Easy Navigation During chat

The research and development teams at Live2Support worked hard last month to refine and implement several new features. They are now available for your use after having undergone stringent testing.

File Transfer
Often, while conversing live with your chat operators or customer support executives, your customers may experience the need to share a file with the chat operator. It could be a Word document listing the technical specifications of a product your customer wishes to purchase from you, a photograph of a product, or even a promotional offer you may have published elsewhere on the web. Your customers no longer have to e-mail the document as a file attachment. File transfer has been integrated with the chat window, and once trained, your chat operators can easily send or receive files with your customers without having to invoke an external application such as an e-mail program like Outlook Express or Thunderbird.

Smileys and other Emoticons
Smileys and other emoticons allow your chat operators and customers to connect emotionally with each other. If your chat application happens to be of a non-business nature such as educational counseling, information research or crisis intervention, emoticons can be of value. Live2Support's current interface allows both your chat operators and customers to liberally use Smileys and other emoticons to add a layer of sentiment to their chat conversations.

Easy Navigation During Chat
Our chat navigation interface has become razor edge mainstream owing to increased functionality and ease of use. Your chat operators can deliver canned responses to customers with virtually no delays. Like FAQs, canned responses can be developed by your customer support team in the form of short answers to questions so that each time a matching inquiry is presented by your customers, the pertinent canned response can be transmitted like any other chat response. These canned responses, however, should be labeled correctly to avoid inappropriate usage. Other features such as push URl and chat history review can now be launched while your chat operators are chatting with several site visitors at the same time.
