What is New at Live2Support :: Call Back Feature, Direct Connect, Reverse Calling Function, Ease of Configuration

 

In this month's lead feature, we have touched briefly on how telephone-based customer support is quintessential to business success in the online space. We are elated to pre-announce that Live2Support is all set to take your customer support infrastructure to a fourth dimension by introducing A Call Back feature fully integrated with the Live2Support chat service.

What is the Call Back Feature
The Live2Support Call Back feature lets your customers and site visitors interact with your sales, tech support, customer service or other departments via telephone without having to abandon the chat facility. There are several ways in which the Live2Support Call Back feature has been integrated with the chat interaction process.

Direct Connect
A single mouse click Direct Connect function has been implemented in the software through a button which you can place on your web pages. This allows your customers to use their computer speakers and a microphone to speak directly with your chat operator or customer service representative. This function is ideal for those customers who are connected to the Internet via broadband or cable modems. Patrons using the Internet through dial-up modems may experience a compromise in sound quality.

Reverse Calling Function
Live2Support's Call Back feature has also been designed to enable your chat operators to call your customers directly at a moment's notice. When customers click the Call Back Button located on your various web pages, a window opens immediately which prompts customers for their phone number. Once this information is displayed on the chat operator's window, the chat operator can place the phone call and talk to your customer while preserving the chat window in active status. Telephone conversations and chatting including the swapping of files can take place concurrently.

Ease of Configuration
The Call Back feature can be configured to integrate either or both the functions we have mentioned depending on your preference. We expect this new level of functionality to be available to your customers shortly. Please stay tuned for more updates via this column.
