As we gradually get ready to transition into the second half of 2009, a happenstance that happens sooner than we expect each year, it is time for us to start thinking well in advance about the upcoming 2009 shopping season. It is not as early as you think. 2009 wholesale Christmas buying is in full swing right now and it is time for us to learn from our product sector colleagues. Is your customer service plan in place? If your website features live chat service, do you have the right number of accounts and operators to manage the traffic inflow? What about training? Have you established a training roadmap for your chat operators? These and other questions will receive plenty of attention from us as the year progress.
