Release 3.4 (Support operator Web Base Interface) (Beta) :
Improved support operator web base interface is available for test. You can login at http://www.live2support.com/cpplus/login.php
The following changes/upgrades are available in this release :
- New tabbed visitor monitoring window. Now option available to see all visitor's activities on web site or chat only activities on web site or other support operator status.
- Technology improved for smooth, faster and transparent operation in monitoring window.
- More visitor details available - Visitor organization or host information & raw web browser information for advance users.
- Increase use of AJAX technology
- Links in visitor monitoring window has been re-organized based on practical usages. Now single click IP address blocking is available.
- Look of monitoring window has been improved.
- More help is available in visitor monitoring window.
- Call failure recovery in visitor monitoring window and support operator chat window has been improved to avoid problem during inconsistent internet connection period or slow communication due to net congestion.
- Support operator will see chat request when visitor submit user name and email (if enabled before chat) (for example asking user name and email address is enabled and visitor on your web site click for chat, a window open-up on visitor side asking user name and email address in current version support operator get chat request same time. Now support operator will not get support request until visitor fill the information and submit.)
- Bug fix in support operator reporting section.
- Improved transcript section. In transcript email option provision for adding own subject and note.
- Support operator can send message to off-line support operators also and support operator can view messages when they go on-line.
- Right click is allowed in operator chat window for copy and paste.
Visitor side chat window upgrade/bug fix :
- Chat request on submission of user name and email address form. If asking user name and email is enabled then no chat request on click on live support.
- Right click is enabled during chat for copy and paste purpose.
- Technology improved on call failure and recovery process.
Windows Application (Standalone visitor monitoring and chatting application) bug fix :
- No multiple alert on internet connection problem.
- No duplicate message display in support operator chat window in case of net congestion.
- No false switching to unavailable in monitoring window
